  • Continually assess and improve the efficiency and quality of project work through design and implementation of processes and tools in support of the project team’s efforts
  • Participate in supervising, mentoring, and developing junior- to mid-level staff
  • Oversee the completion and accuracy of budgets, work plans, invoices, and other contract-related tasks

  • Perform quality reviews of the technical aspects of project work performed by team members
  • Synthesize findings into written reports and scientific articles
  • Develop technical publications and guidance, presentations for conferences, and proposal sections
  • This position does not involve hands-on laboratory or field work

Basic Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in public health, toxicology, pharmacology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related subject with focus on human health exposure, hazard, and risk assessment
  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience working in human-health related consulting services or research
  • Experience with government programs (preferably CDC, ATSDR, U.S. EPA or NIEHS)
  • Experience with project management and staff leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute technical approaches to solving scientific questions

Professional Skills:

  • Proactive and problem-solving approach to challenges
  • Process analysis and design skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
