About you

  • A focused yet passionate and persistent search for beauty and originality to appreciate new ideas
  • A creative and strategic thinker, with a proven track record in effective communication strategies
  • A sharp and curious mind with an ability to observe and identify patterms, trends and insigths
  • 5 years+ experience in strategic communications and campaign development
  • A well rounded understanding of people’s behaviour
  • A good knowledge of different media types and how strategic communication need to influences it
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, written and verbal
  • An advocate for strategies that deliver against short- and long-term goals
  • The flexibility to apply strategic thinking for different audiences, inc. customers, colleagues and citizens
  • An effective working style and approach to balance your workload

About the role

As a senior strategic planner you are the co-architect of great campaigns. You define communication strategies, enable creative directions, suggest media tactics and identify success metrics to meet client objectives and engage target audiences.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Work with senior clients to understand their communication objectives and KPI’s in collaboration with account and project managers
  • Conduct research to source relevant information, inc. market analysis, competitor analysis, media analysis, audience analysis, KPI analysis and digest findings into relevant and actionable strategic insight
  • Define the strategic direction of the communication campaign, translating insights and client needs into a strategic plan/ brief that meets the KPI’s and inspires creatives
  • Guide the implementation of the strategy, gather feedback from other teams and clients and adapt the strategy where needed
  • Follow the execution and validate the strategy, making sure all necessary data is collected to create a strategic analysis of the project
  • Work on lead client pitches; take responsibility for important proposal sections of the process and lead on defining the strategy and approach
