Senior Solutions Architect - Remote

*We are open to supporting 100% remote work anywhere within the US.* 

ICF’s Digital Modernization Division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology driven department seeking a Senior Solutions Architect. Our team is a leading provider of Digital Transformation services for Federal agencies. Our services focus on enabling agency mission and business transformation using industry-leading low-code platforms, mobile applications, robotics process automation and data analytics platforms. We are partnered with some of the world’s leading and most innovative companies like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft and UiPath. We focus on offering a full range of architecture and planning, system implementation, integration, analytics, and O&M for our customers. 

As the Senior Solutions Architect, you will create conceptual and logical specifications for all aspects of solution design through collaboration with business, enterprise, application, security, and infrastructure architects. The Solutions Architect shall make recommendations on software, hardware, hosting services, and communications to support the product vision as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces based on solution and program increment roadmaps. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure systems are compatible and in compliance with IT standards for architecture, including the implementation of specific solutions for on-premises and cloud platforms, integration with other systems, and their external interfaces  

  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture to develop artifacts for reuse by subsequent projects  

  • Model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models  

  • Develop and refine system architectural concepts and integrated architectural models  

  • Analyze and document requirements and functional specifications

  • Assess current systems to identify improvement opportunities  

  • Identify options to solve business problems and comparison of alternatives based on stakeholder criteria  

  • Develop high-level cost and schedule estimates for the introduction of new systems and modernization of existing systems  

What you must have:

  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience 

  • 2+ years of Geospatial experience (ArcGIS, ArcMap, ArcObjects, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcPro version, ArcGIS Pro SDK, etc.)

  • 2+ years of AWS experience

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance 

What we’d like you to have:

  • 10+ years of relevant IT experience 

  • Strong understanding of Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) principles and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) of custom applications, Low Code Development Platforms (LCDPs), and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) solutions 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline
