Senior Social Media Expert

The Social Media Expert would integrate the Social Media Team within the Digital Content Factory DCF.  With our growing portfolio, we need an additional senior expert. The ideal candidate has experience in running social media projects from A-Z and communications work in a busy, fast-paced environment. The candidate should also be at ease presenting and doing client relationship. 

  Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing social media activities, both organic and ads.

• Preparing social media strategies as part of the broader campaign strategies.

• Translating the overarching creative concept into social media activities and assets.

• Overseeing timely production of creative assets used for social media activities.

• Measuring results and providing insightful analysis of social media coverage.

• Liaising directly with ICF Next clients and share the expert inputs.

• Working in collaboration with experts from other fields, such as Strategists, Creatives, Designers and Copywriters.

• Coaching junior Social Media Managers, including quality check.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the field of digital communications and social media.

• Expertise in social media platforms, their management, and analytical tools.

• Experience in managing paid advertising campaigns.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills.

• Interest in the latest digital trends and innovations.

• Interest in communicating about EU policies to EU citizens.

• Flexible attitude. Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.

• Excellent knowledge of English.

Additional welcome skills

• Fluency in at least one other EU language.

• Experience social media listening and community management.

• Team coordination.

• Presentation skills.

• Experience in writing campaign proposals, bids, or pitches.

Currently the tasks are expected to be performed remotely, with the perspective to return gradually to our Brussels office, following the COVID-19 safety standards.
