Senior ServiceNow Portal Developer Secret Clearance (Remote)

ICF’s IT Modernization division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology department, seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support upcoming needs with our federal customers.

At ICF, our ServiceNow Developers help support the mission, business, service, and operational needs of our customers. ICF’s ServiceNow Developers work on a wide variety of different programs to support diverse customer mission areas. We build solutions that support citizen services - such as systems that help detect fraud, waste, and abuse across federal programs, systems that help facilitate wireless spectrum auctions, and systems that support citizen engagement with regulatory and rulemaking processes - all using the ServiceNow platform. We also support new and novel employee services across our portfolio - such as improving employees' access to Human Resources business functions, our customer's business management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities, as well as core service and operations management needs of business stakeholders.
The Senior ServiceNow Developer is a senior technical resource that possesses advanced ServiceNow administration capability and can design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications and services. The ServiceNow Application Developer has a software development background in addition to ServiceNow System Administration, ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow, and Application Creation in ServiceNow.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Lead technical design for architecture, responsible for overall code quality ensuring a highly available and recoverable environment
Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutions,
Develop custom integration components and integrate legacy systems with the platform using mid-server and other relevant technologies
Lead and coach internal development team, manage vendors, including advanced troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes, and root cause analysis
Document, maintain and update policies, procedures, and controls for the platform operation and software development life cycle while promoting agile development.
Work with process managers to fully understand business functionality, and areas of improvement while reviewing requirements to ensure sufficient detail is available to be accurately estimated and prioritized for development
Assists ServiceNow System Administrators with the incident resolution, as needed
Designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and services
Assists ServiceNow Business Analyst in estimating release level of effort
Provides mentoring and guidance for ServiceNow Developers
Takes ownership of complex business requirements and works them to completion
Must have active Secret Clearance
US Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
Minimum 2+ Years' experience with ServiceNow development
Minimum 2+ Years of experience with Application Experience: Service Portal & Agent Workspace
1+years of knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow development.
1+ years of enterprise and/or CSM
1+ years of experience participating in the Design Review Board
1+ years of experience participating in Operations Board
1+ years of delivery methodology (per squad / product line)
1+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform operations and management
1+ years of experience with database design schemas and data modeling
1+years of experience gathering requirements
1+ years of experience with the process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting
1+ years of experience with LDAP Integration, ServiceNow Development APIs, and diagnosing performance-related issues
