Senior Pricing Strategist - Price to Win

As our company grows so does our need to grow our Corporate teams. We are currently looking for a Senior Pricing Strategist. This Price to Win (PTW)/Pricing Strategy position requires a unique blend of technical, business, and strategic thinking skills and the ability to work in a team environment to develop competitive solutions in support of high profile, company-changing opportunities. Your workload will be dynamic, engaging, and will directly impact the growth of the business. While it entails a significant amount of support in the US federal space (including IT modernization, public health, etc.), other markets requiring strategic pricing support include US state & local, non-US public, and commercial. This position reports within ICF’s enterprise-wide Corporate Growth team. Currently our team is working from home, but look forward to returning to our offices later in the year.
What you will do:
Create and assess Request for Proposal (RFP) price evaluation models to determine the key cost and price levers for the evaluated bid price
Develop the probable competitive evaluated bid price range considering the RFP evaluation criteria, customer buying behaviors, and competitive positioning on non-price evaluation factors
Collect, analyze, and maintain strategic and tactical competitive intelligence from open source data
Substantiate the probable bid range based on quantitative data such as customer budget data, salary and wrap rate modeling, labor profile modeling, industry benchmarks & metrics, reverse engineering of past bids, and expert judgment
Conduct business case analysis considering bid and execution models
Brief senior leadership and "make the case" for the PTW recommendation
Support portfolio-wide trend analysis
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
8+ years of broad and varied price to win/strategic pricing experience
Proven experience briefing C-Level executives on PTW and competitive considerations
Highest level of professional integrity and honesty, as well as personal credibility
Understanding of complex business activities, including finance, accounting, HR, subcontracting, and contracts.
Ability to work independently and meet hard deadlines, multitask, handle large volumes of data, learn quickly, and meet deadlines
Effective communication, organizational, analytical and time management skills
Creative problem-solving skills
Superior skills in MS Excel, and MS Word
