Senior GIS Analyst

What you'll be doing:
Work independently and as a senior member of a multi-functional, dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to design and implement innovative GIS analysis and applications.
Develop solutions to complex problems using an array of modern, cloud-based IT, data, and GIS tools and technologies.
Design, build, deploy, and maintain attractive and interactive GIS applications that help explain complex issues and support smarter decision-making in local, state, and federal government agencies.
Drive end user satisfaction through the integration of interactive maps and geospatial analytics across desktop and mobile web interfaces.
Collaborate across multiple teams in critical domains, including energy, transportation, disaster response and recovery, and public health, to iterate on effective solutions.
What you must have:
Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Computer or Data Science, Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Statistics, Graphic Design, or related discipline).
5 years of experience managing and implementing GIS and spatial data solutions using a wide range of front- and back-end tools, including ArcPro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
2 years of experience working with GIS-enabled database solutions (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
2 years of experience automating GIS workflows using languages such as Python and R.
2 years of experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
Basic understanding of diverse and relevant topics, including visualization theory, user experience/user interface, and statistics.
2 years of experience with agile software development
US Citizen or Permanent Lawful Resident (Green Card Holder) preferred. Employment must be compliant with eligibility for Public Trust Clearance due to Government Contract.

Demonstrated experience showing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills paired with a desire to take initiative to grow our team’s visualization capabilities
Understand concepts and applicable software tools and analytical methodologies for visualizing many different types of data including performance measures, public health, environment, financial, HR/operations
