As U.S. federal civilian and health agency leaders continue to redefine their missions through the lens of technology and respond to gaps in the federal health system exposed by the pandemic, we are hiring a Senior Director of Marketing to amplify the visibility of our leading technology portfolio and our health domain services.

In this role, you will develop an integrated marketing strategy and campaign plan for these critical growth markets ensuring marketing is a key business growth driver, adding value at every step of the buyer’s journey: from attraction to engagement, and eventual acquisition.

Key responsibilities include:  

  • Lead the development of our U.S. federal marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, audience engagement and marketing’s influence on sales pipeline.

  • Work in tight partnership with business development executives, capture managers and agency account leaders to assess go-to-market readiness, shape go-to-market strategies and implement account-based marketing campaigns.

  • Manage a team of strategic, upstream marketers to develop campaign plans across a variety of earned, owned and paid channels.

  • Closely monitor market dynamics and buyer challenges to reach and engage audiences in a highly relevant way.

  • Manage our public relations agency to amplify the visibility of ICF’s industry-leading subject matter experts and client work with national, regional and trade media, as well as through industry awards.

  • Partner with our content and creative teams to create thought leadership content with purpose-driven narratives, compelling messaging and a differentiated point of view to fuel campaign efforts.

  • Work in tight collaboration with our campaign operations team to optimize our database marketing efforts as well as our paid third-party, social media, and display advertising campaigns.

  • Tightly partner with our marketing data analysts to analyze marketing performance in real time and garner insights so messaging and channel adjustments can quickly be made.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of experience developing and executing marketing and communications strategies

Professional Skills/Preferred:

  • Strong knowledge of and experience working in the federal space, including working closely with business development and capture executives within the federal procurement cycle

  • Technology, product and solution marketing experience preferred

  • 5+ years of experience working directly with senior leaders to set and manage program and budget expectations

  • Passion for finding new and creative ways to reach an audience

  • Proven ability to help shape messaging and positioning

  • Ability to work across teams and departments in a highly collaborative way  

  • Strong project management skills; can juggle and organize multiple priorities

  • Strong leadership skills; can grow and empower a team of rising stars

  • Proven ability to interpret data to inform and drive business decisions with analytics

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

  • Bachelor’s degree

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$179,181.00 - $304,608.00
