We are looking for an experienced, motivated communicator to help us create more visibility and excitement around the inspirational, mission-driven work of ICF – a $1.5 billion company that has doubled in size every five years for the past twenty. We’re looking for someone to develop and manage an ambitious and growing corporate communications program that is evolving as rapidly as we are.
In this senior role, you will create a multi-channel, integrated communications strategy that drives our corporate brand. You will also ensure compelling messaging and positioning serve as the tip of spear for our global marketing efforts. We are looking for someone with a passion for storytelling, aligned with business strategy and industry acumen, to help share how we make meaningful impact.
Key responsibilities include:
Management of ICF’s corporate communications program and corporate brand strategy.
Develop strategic brand marketing initiatives aligned with our global business goals.
Ensure a singular, compelling brand message across any medium; including owned, earned and paid channels.
Lead our external communications activities such as public/media relations, reputation management, crisis communications, and more.
Develop the strategy and manage the execution of our most important internal corporate communications channels, programs and systems.
Help craft and support the PR and marketing strategies in key markets including climate, environment, technology, health and more.
Manage a highly active executive visibility program that includes industry, investor and employee communications, thought leadership and executive appearances for our most senior executives.
Be a creative business partner to our executive leadership team and key business stakeholders.
Manage a highly active M&A program through comprehensive communications and brand integration plans.
Translate the complex work ICF does into memorable and emotionally relevant communications, materials and assets.
Required Qualifications:
10 - 14 years of experience developing and executing communications and brand strategies
Professional Skills/Preferred:
A strong ability to forge a deep understanding of our customers to inform brand positioning.
To be bullish in maintaining a high bar for quality communications that inspire, create emotional connections and are culturally relevant.
5+ of years of experience working directly with senior leaders to develop personalized communications plans and materials
5+ of years of experience leading teams with an eye towards building an organization that scales
Strong leadership skills that can grow and empower a team of rising stars
Excellent writing skills and a strong ability to communicate ideas and concepts creatively and concisely
Passion for finding new and creative ways to reach an audience
Ability to work across teams and departments in a highly collaborative way
Strong project management skills; can juggle and organize multiple priorities

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$179,181.00 - $304,608.00
