Senior Consultant - Operations Improvement
ICF’s aviation practice is one of the world's leading specialist aviation consulting teams. We provide objective and independent strategic and operational advice across all aviation sectors globally. We are looking for experienced managers to join our fast-growing aviation operations improvement team, helping deliver IT Operations systems implementation consulting and support services to a range of ICF Aviation clients. Our work includes:
Operations Assessment and Improvement
IT Systems evaluation and selection
Systems Implementation support
Systems and processes (health) adoption study and improvement
Creating interactive online manuals - Processes documentation and analysis
CoE (Centre of Excellence) and Competence centers support (for continuous improvement)
Asset Management
In this role you will be expected to:
Analyze business requirements
Design & implement full business solutions
Identify integration issues and offer solutions
Work within a pre-sales and delivery environment to understand, design and build solutions to meet business requirements
Work effectively in mixed client, software vendor and business consultancy teams
Coach & develop skills within a project team
Knowledge/Experience Required
Minimum 3 years Operations IT Systems implementation experience, preferably in the commercial aviation space
Minimum 3 years demonstrable project and people management experience
Ability to manage, lead and facilitate design meetings in order to extract key business and technical design criteria
Proven experience of full project lifecycles, from vendor evaluation and selection through to software implementation
Minimum 3 years client facing experience in consultancy or in industry
Previous Aviation industry experience preferred
Proven ability to work with clients, client partners, executives and consultant teams
Experience with business development activities
Exposure to a variety of deployment models
Competencies:
Is seen as a trusted advisor by key clients due to understanding of the end-to-end delivery proposition
Contributes to creating the deployed strategy at the functional level
Able to go into accounts and grow opportunities through delivery
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Full understanding of the benefits which an organization can leverage from implementing a fully integrated Operations solution
Strong working familiarity and practice with MSOffice, Project management, BPM and PLM tools and procedures
