Senior Business Development Analyst - Hybrid

We are seeking a talented business development analyst to join our Domain Group, Transformation Security & Social Services Division. The Sr. Business Development Analyst will be responsible for providing planning, management, and coordination of sales, market analysis, pipeline management, contract and administration support related to Business Development related activities.

This position coordinates the day-to-day management of business development activities and is responsible for supporting our pipeline of opportunities as well as partner communication for various contract vehicles.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and possess great verbal and written communication. Be able to function as a part of an integrated team.

The position will be hybrid and expectations will be to attend periodic onsite planning and strategic sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pipeline tracking, conducting quality checks for data integrity in CRM.

  • Engage with staff and/or the business development team on new opportunities and resolution of pipeline data issues.

  • Conduct and coordinate business development activities to include research on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, competing organizations, and customer demographics.

  • Work with Growth team to pursue new work including prime and subcontractor opportunities.  Support includes analyzing RFIs and RFPs for capability alignment; support responding to RFI.

  • Help execute NDAs and entering teaming agreements in corporate system of integrity.

  • Provide “on demand’ support and problem solving.

  • Provide Contract & Administration support to Business Development Team

  • Source Opportunities weekly using Govwin by business; establish targeted auto notifications searches.

  • Provide Market Analysis and support strategic outreach.

  • Help verify potential markets and create marketing campaigns corresponding to Division Lines of Business Capabilities.

  • Maintain priority agency target data relevant to industry needs to advise the sales team of updates.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with MS SharePoint and Excel

  • 4+ years of customer service skills in a busy environment 

  • 4+ years of experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to learn and master new systems (e.g., Power BI, MS Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams)

  • Experience with business development processes

  • Experience consulting with Federal, state/local government

  • Familiarity with government contracting

Professional Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

  • Customer service skills with the ability to build productive relationships, resolve complex issues and win user loyalty

  • Exceptional level of attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Team player with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to adhere to deadlines

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$103,035.00 - $175,160.00
