Senior Account Executive

ICF is a company whose known work and methodologies encompass mission services and transformative projects throughout hundreds of Federal, Defense and commercial organizations.   We seek an experienced Senior Account Executive for our Social, Transformational, Organizational Services (STOS) Division This person will drive revenue growth within STOS by:

  • Building, qualifying, and managing a pipeline that supports $2M-$20M wins

  • Managing Full lifecycle of business development and capture activities

  • Winning $2M - $20M single award opportunities

What you will be doing:

  • Identifying, developing a pipeline of qualified opportunities

  • Driving business growth, building, and managing sales pipelines, conducting customer development, creating, and managing strategic partnerships.

  • Supporting the full lifecycle of business development and capture activities to bid and win l$2-20M+, single award opportunities

  • Representing ICF at conferences and industry events

  • Working with line leaders to develop technical solutions and approaches to winning new business across multiple capability areas (i.e. – justice research and victim services, housing and community development, and workforce innovation, poverty solutions, emergency preparedness, & capacity building, etc.)

 Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred

  • 12 plus years’ Business Development experience  

  • Referenceable customer relationships across DHS agencies and offices

  • 7 plus years’ experience shaping Business Development requirements, building acquisition strategies to source opportunities, business development and capture efforts of $2M - $20M+ opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong growth acumen; 5+ years’ experience winning business in the Federal and State and Local market

  • Agency experience in these:  DOL, HHS, HUD, DOJ, and/ or DHS client offices including OBP, CISA, FEMA, CWMD and others

  • Experience building acquisition strategies

  • Lead consortium/teaming efforts

  • Experience presentation and communication skills; Must have experience authoring white papers, responding to RFI’s and other presentation materials that successfully positions the firm

  • Demonstrate success developing and presenting complex ideas to executive audiences and effectively articulating customer positions, status, and strategies to senior management in a clear, concise, and decisive manner

  • Identify opportunities for program growth and actively propose and pursue appropriate enhancements and changes

  • Relevant and current knowledge of federal, and state and local customers (mission, program, and acquisition offices)

  • Experience building, executing client call plans & shaping strategies; must be willing to work as part of a collaborative market team

  • Advanced Degree in Business

  • 10+ years of experience with DOL, HHS, HUD, DOJ and/ or DHS client offices including OBP, CISA, FEMA, and CWMD

  • Direct access to FEDCIV and state and local customers in support of key mission areas
