Robotic Process Automation Analyst - Remote

ICF is looking for a Robotic Process Automation Developer to help the Air Force create the future of automated human capital processes. This role is open to being full time remote.

The client is enjoying success with the first generation of robotics and is getting more sophisticated with every iteration.  With a focus on usability, scalability, and maintainability, you’ll test these features, cut releases for QA, and deploy, experiment, monitor, and optimize them in production. Join us and be part of the excitement.

As a Robotic Process Automation Developer, you will:

  • Work within an agile team that operates with rapid iterations and continuous improvement to create the most intelligent robotics system for the Air Force

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts, Requirements Analysts, and data science departments to determine the scope of the project

  • Implement plan specifications for integrating client’s data sources to meet client objectives

  • Regularly communicate with clients to keep them updated on progress 

  • Monitor implementation and troubleshoot problems when necessary

  • Provide inputs to Business Process Owners, Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts, and SME's

  • Apply the program's Design Methodology for integrating client’s activities, data sources, and systems to meet project objectives for multiple - often on-going - automation projects

  • Plan, estimate and implement bots to automate repeatable processes using tools such as UIPath

  • Provide development and testing support, and follow implementation of standards and best practices in alignment with architecture patterns

  • Offer ongoing contribution to the automation Practices and Frameworks in order to drive a culture of continuous improvement

  • Work across the organization to provide business process or design recommendations consistent with long term business and IT strategy

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of working experience in developing RPA solutions using UiPath

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

  • Proficient with one or more programming languages such as Java or Python

  • Familiarity with Agile development process

Preferred professional experience

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Real-world system troubleshooting experience

  • Military experience is highly sought

  • Prior experience programming within defined standards and templates

  • Build complex and efficient RPA solutions independently

  • End-to-end process development

  • Expertise in performing UiPath code reviews and providing project support, i.e., Hypercare

  • Involvement in debugging and fixing production bugs
