QA/QC Data Inspection Specialist

QA/QC Data Inspection Specialist Location: NY Remote

To support our growth, we are currently seeking Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Data Inspection Specialists to join our energy efficiency team located in New York State. The selected candidates will coordinate all desktop quality assurance activities. In addition, they will assist with the development, documentation, and implementation of QA/QC programs, plans, and procedures. They will also conduct QA investigations of non-conforming program contractors, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain QA records using Sightline.

What you will be doing: In this position you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the Quality Care and Quality Assurance efforts for energy efficient programs in New York State.  Knowledge of energy efficient technologies and practices related to HVAC systems and overall residential building energy technologies or experience in the building trades is a plus. 

  • Conducting desk review quality assurance/quality control of program partner reports 
  • Liaising with subcontractors, stakeholders, and customer service representatives 
  • Collaborating with team members to brainstorm ideas for process improvements 
  • Developing and updating client reports and documents 
  • Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, PDF forms and databases for internal tracking 
  • Producing communications and other informative materials for subcontractors alongside changes to policies and procedures 
  • Research on market trends and needs 
  • Other duties as required to support our work nationally and provide direct support to division leadership as needed 

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):  

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year(s) professional experience OR
  • 5+ years of related trade experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications with demonstrated experience in Excel 
  • Familiarity with other MS programs such as SharePoint and CRM’s such as Salesforce 
  • Experience with HVAC systems, energy efficiency and/or electrical systems and controls

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final salary for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The salary range for New York City is -

$47,184.00 - $80,213.00
