Public Health Data Analyst
ICF is seeking Data Analysts to support Department of Defense (DoD) mental health research projects that seek to maintain and broaden DoD’s understanding of various mental health conditions of most importance to the DoD. The position will involve working with mental health researchers to collect mental health research data and the data into repositories; support the development of research proposals, research reports, and presentations; manage datasets using statistical and office software suites; and provide clerical and logistics support for research meetings (scheduling, generating minutes). The research projects in which the Data Analyst will engage support servicemen and women who need these supports due to traumatic brain injury, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Adjustment Disorders, Operational Stress, and other mental health conditions of concern for the DoD.

- Master’s Degree in Public Health or other related field
- A minimum of 2 years post-masters experience providing psychological health research support to include administrative support, data collection, data entry and preparation of findings for public dissemination
- At least 2 years of experience working with data management systems
- Demonstrated competence with statistical SW packages to include, at a minimum, SAS and SPSS
- Advanced MS Excel skills with demonstrated experience managing, manipulating, and analyzing data
- Using statistical SW packages and MS Excel to manage and analyze data in response to ad hoc questions
