Project Operations Specialist - Victim Services

PROJECT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
ICF seeks individuals with interest in working on projects related to victim services, criminal justice, and community development. The Project Operations Specialist will provide project operations support, including quality customer service via the call center, perform a range of administrative and logistical tasks, and support teams in providing quality work to our clients at the Department of Justice and Health and Human Services, among others in support of victim service providers and lived experience experts across the country. This position is located in Reston, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting client Call Centers to include monitoring, responding to, and triaging incoming calls from the field (this includes phone, e-mail, and online chat requests)
- Drafting and processing subcontracting agreements and invoices
- Reviewing and tracking consultant applications, assignments, agreements, and payments across the contract
- Data collection and data entry for project reports and tracking systems
- Assisting with project quality control through activities such as proofing, records keeping, and ensuring compliance with project SOPs
- Supporting webinars and virtual meeting delivery
- Performing other related duties as assigned
The work will require collaboration with a variety of client and project points of contact. The candidate must be organized and capable of managing time effectively, plan and carry out concurrent activities, and must display decisiveness, diplomacy and sound judgment in addressing callers needs on call center. The candidate must be able to multi-task, and display sensitivity to the confidential nature of federal client work and of the communications between ICF and clients.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 5 years equivalent experience in operational support.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to create and manage timelines, and collaborate with other teams to complete a project deliverable
- Proficiency with MS Office Applications: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
- Strong proofreading skills with careful attention to detail
- Strong writing and notetaking skills, and in compiling meeting notes
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of the general nature of the criminal justice, victim services, and victims’ rights field
- Experience providing customer service and answering phones
Professional Skills:
- Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing, demonstrated highly professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with various levels of internal staff, as well as clients, grantees, and vendors as needed
- Ability to work autonomously and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create and manage timelines and collaborate with the team to complete a project deliverable

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$43,967.00 - $74,744.00
