Project Manager- Emergency Management Programs
ICF is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Emergency Management team in the National Capital Region. This position is responsible for providing project management and subject matter expertise on client programs.
•Manage the ICF project(s)
•Review and approve monthly invoices
•Develop and coordinate review of monthly progress reports
•Maintain, update, and execute an ongoing work plan
•Archive project documentation
•Provide expert guidance on emergency management policy development, plan development, and training
•Develop and deliver trainings and provide virtual and in person meeting facilitation
•Evaluate program, risk, and other data to assist in development of exercise priorities
•Encourage and support the use of technology in policy and plan development
•Masters in Emergency Management or related field or Bachelor’s with 5 additional years of relevant emergency preparedness and operations experience
•5+ years project management experience
•6+ years of practical emergency preparedness and response experience
•5+ years of experience in developing, executing, and evaluating policy and plan implementation
•5+ years of experience working collaboratively with federal, local, and state emergency management agencies
•Able to coordinate a large number of projects simultaneously under pressure with very tight deadlines
•Knowledge of federal and state emergency management programs
•Ability to translate complex concepts into tangible and functional products
•Experience developing risk based and data driven planning strategies
•Team and consensus building skills
•Dynamic facilitation skills
•History of interfacing with senior and elected officials
•Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
•Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
•Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Proficient in MS Office Suite
