ICF is currently looking for a Project Finance Controller to work in our Sacramento or San Diego, CA office and support the Energy, Environment & Transportation group. The Project Finance Controller will work with various parts of our accounting department, including the A/R and A/P teams. Exciting projects to support include major infrastructure markets within Environmental Planning, Natural & Cultural Resources, Clean Transportation & Energy, Water Resources, and Climate Change.
What You Will Do
Project Setup, maintenance, and close-out
Client Invoicing – Time and Materials and Percent Complete
Distribution of draft invoice
Project manager and client support
Budget tracking
Excel Spreadsheets, creating and updating
Revenue Recognition on Lump Sum projects
Account analysis and reconciliation as needed
Audit support
Pull backup documentation for client invoicing
Maintain project files
What You Must Have
Experience with project billing
Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel and Word, and 10-key by touch
Detailed understanding of procedures for keeping accurate job costing accounting records on a timely basis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
Willing to work overtime
Preferred Skills/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Experience with Deltek Vision accounting system
Experience with Quickbooks
