PHP Website Developer | Remote
The PHP Website Developer will build a custom Wordpress website and integrate with external third-party APIs for use in capacity building. The successful candidate will be highly experienced in full stack development including PHP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript or other languages as compatible with Wordpress and WP Engine hosting platform. In addition, the successful candidate will have significant experience with Wordpress plugins and architecture. The website developer will report to the Communications Manager and serve as a part of the Capacity Building Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and develop website theme and templates for ease of uploading content
Work directly with UX and design team for the layout of the website
Assure continuous operation of website and fix broken links
Lead all technical aspects of development and deployment of website
Lead in the creation and development of the website within a team environment including subject matter experts, communication and content experts, and project managers.
Create API integrations with third-party legal software systems
Assure approval of content and quality assurance before programming for live launch
Assure 508 compliance for launch and ongoing content administration
Assist team with content updates continuously throughout project
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience administering website content
Minimum of 3 years’ experience programming in a variety of computer languages such as PHP, CSS, HTML
Minimum 3 years’ experience building and maintaining Wordpress sites
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
Professional experience training and developing training curriculum
Experience managing website layout and project managing website development
Experience creating API integrations with outside services

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is
$75,157.00 - $127,767.00
