ICF Next seeks a Partner, Integrated Communications with a preference for location in Chicago, Minneapolis or New York City, but may be open for the right candidate. This person will play a critical, most senior role across teams executing programs that drive cultural relevance and build brand purpose for national food, beverage and travel/hospitality brands.
As a Partner, you will:
Run multiple integrated communications accounts with a passion for inspiring work that earns attention
Establish and grow strong, trusted relationships with senior marketing, communications and C-Suite clients through strategic counsel grounded in an understanding of their business challenges and opportunities
Actively uncover and lead organic growth across accounts and new business for the agency
Foster an entrepreneurial team environment that encourages proactive strategic and creative problem solving and a thirst for supporting one another in delivering the best possible work
Maintain financial responsibility, including total oversight on forecasting and profitability on accounts
Effectively manage account teams to ensure work, roles and opportunities are established in a way that supports and drives high-functioning teams
Manage and mentor account leaders and emerging leaders, guiding career growth and coaching to further elevate strategies, deliver flawless execution and grow business
Partner with peers and relevant discipline leaders (e.g. Creative, Strategy, Analytics, Social Media, Corporate Affairs) to establish opportunities – including building and/or improving processes and developing POVs and thought leadership – that drive the business and the agency forward
As a Partner, you will have:
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, public relations or communications and 15+ years of experience in multi-faceted public relations and integrated communications roles
Experience driving award-winning consumer brand marketing programs
An understanding of the earned landscape and experience developing integrated communications strategies (PR, Social, Influencer) that can propel programs that drive earned coverage and conversation
An interest in the intersectionality between paid, earned and owned, connecting the dots to take strategies and programs to the next level
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a passion for compelling storytelling
Track record of solving complex brand challenges, with an ability to balance ‘tried and true’ approaches with thinking outside of the box and pushing clients and teams to take risks
Ability to travel as required
