Operations Supervisor- Quality
To support our growth, ICF is adding staff to its commercial energy team in the Martinsville, Virginia area to support a wide range of energy programs. Our clients include utilities, recognizable Fortune 500 global corporations, as well as a variety of industry, and Government organizations. We are seeking an Operations Supervisor-Quality to recommend and implement new or improved quality control methods, procedures, and/or standardsto take a significant role in the implementation of programs that will deliver and expand our offerings. Work as part of an energy efficiency team ensuring that the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility sponsored energy efficiency projects is successfully executed.
Review projects for accuracy and ensure program requirements have been met.
Supervises, manages, and develops quality staff and manages individual performance.
Coach and increase overall quality with a focus on error trends.
Work with Operations Manager, Operations Supervisors, and training department to revise or create process documents to meet quality requirements for each client.
Evaluate quality findings and coordinate with Management to implement process improvement strategies that improve overall quality.
Follows up on corrective action requests and preventive measures to achieve cost of quality targets.
Analyzes individual and team quality performance and identifies trends to generate innovative recommendations to leadership regarding ways to enhance performance. Verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established guidance.
Manages all human resources related activities for direct and indirect reports and maintains employee engagement. Provides coaching and development to team members. Leads staff meetings, communicates strategy, and translates into tactical operating plans.
Work with quality assurance/quality control team to report and correct trends.
Centralize and consolidate data for high level reporting.
3+ years in similar role,
Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience.
Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
Experience designing and developing curriculum and training programs.
Must quickly learn and implement new processes.
Experience supervising a small staff.
Superior attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and multitask, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Quality Management – Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques used to create and support an environment that meets the needs of the organization.
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team.
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions.
Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities.
Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy and professionalism.
