Mental Health Subject Matter Expert

ICF is seeking Subject Matter Experts in Public Health, Informatics & Technology for one of our clients in the Washington, DC metro area.  If you want to make a difference in public health and join a network of subject matter experts, apply now!

We are expanding our services. To support this growth, we are looking for Managing Consultants with experience in Public Health Informatics and Technology. This team includes technologists, data scientists, innovation researchers, CIO strategists, public health researchers & evaluators, as well as provides technical assistance services to US Civilian Federal Agencies and their partners, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Psychological Health Services Subject Matter Expert (Psychologist), With Sexual Assault Expertise (CC SME Psych - Sexual Assault)

Must Have:

  • PhD or PsyD in Psychology
  • 2 – 7+ full-time, continuous years of relevant Psychological Health professional experience (early-career and senior positions may both become available)
  • Prior experience working in sexual assault prevention and recovery.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding and knowledge of issues pertaining to clinical practice 

Psychological Health Services Subject Matter Expert (Psychologist), With Suicide Expertise(CC SME Psych – Suicide)

Must Have:

  • PhD or PsyD in Psychology with licensure as a clinical psychologist
  • A minimum of 9 years of professional experience in psychological and/or psychiatric research, with knowledge of advanced research design and associated statistical analyses
  • 3+ years of experience in suicide prevention/intervention in a clinical or research setting
  • Experience conducting comprehensive literature reviews, including the ability to synthesize findings and summarize results in a succinct and accurate manner
  • Ability to locate, procure, compile, and organize suicide-related military policies and procedures according to their content in order to make them easily accessible to team members

Social Worker, Subject Matter Expert – Psychological Health Center of Excellence(CC_Soc Worker SME)

Must Have:

  • Masters degree or higher in a mental health field of practice 
  • Strong secondary research experience (e.g., literature reviews, systematic reviews)
  • Prior experience delivering mental health services within the LGBTQ community
  • Prior experience working with suicide, sexual assault, and/or inclusive mental health 

Mental Health / Psychological Services Subject Matter Expert (Psychologist)(PHP SME Psych)

  • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology or a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical, Counseling, Community Psychology or other relevant applied psychological discipline.
  • Junior positions require at least three solid years of relevant mental health experiences while more senior positions require 10+.
  • Demonstrated background in literature reviews, systematic reviews, and metrics is a must.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation, evaluation, or research of community or clinical psychology interventions focused on an area of psychological health affecting the military community (e.g., operational stress, suicide prevention, substance abuse prevention, PTSD, etc.).

Research Psychologist (R SME Psych)

Must Have:

  • PhD in Psychology focusing on Research, Clinical, Community, Counseling or other relevant applied psychological discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise with multiple research methods (as stated above) and study design.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation, evaluation, or research of community or clinical psychology interventions focused on an area of psychological health affecting the military community (e.g., operational stress, suicide prevention, substance abuse prevention, PTSD, etc.).
