We’re currently hiring for a Marketing Project Coordinator.
As a Marketing Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting communication efforts at the National Cancer Institute SBIR Development Center. The NCI SBIR Development Center manages the SBIR/STTR Program and supports entrepreneurs developing the next generation technologies to help cancer patients, providers, and caregivers. In addition to funding, the NCI SBIR Development Center offers several educational and entrepreneurial resources aimed at accelerating the translation of technologies to the clinic.
The Marketing Project Coordinator's role is aimed at supporting various initiatives created by program directors at the NCI SBIR Development Center, as well as to provide basic support for project coordination and communications work.
As a Marketing Project Coordinator, you will:
Work on multiple projects, often juggling priorities and working with tight deadlines
Assist with calendaring and scheduling meetings and presentations
Gather/organize agendas for meetings. Gather/organize information on project activities and for reports
Distribute materials, catering and logistical coordination for business and in-house client visits
Create and edit correspondence documents, reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Provides a variety of administrative support to a complex project or multiple projects
Works closely with client and internal team members
Compiles technical, financial, and other project data using various database programs for inclusion in reports or presentation materials
Participates in special projects as required
As a Marketing Project Coordinator, you will have:
2+ year's of experience within agency and/or marketing & communications environments
BS/BA in Business, Communications, Marketing or equivalent in professional experience
Proficient in Windows PC environment, including Microsoft Office applications and Google Docs
Excellent client service skills
Communicate clearly and concisely and work well with all types of personalities
Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
This role will ultimately sit onsite at the clients office located in Rockville, MD when remote working guidelines are lifted
Within the current landscape, this role will be supported remotely
