Manager / Managing Consultant in EU Public Policy
Are you passionate about policy affecting citizens across the European Union? Are you an emerging manager or managing projects already, looking for new challenges in policy consulting?
Whether you work for a consultancy or in a related field, we are looking for Managers in consulting to help governments, public agencies and international institutions solve complex problems and improve the quality of life of people around Europe and the world.
You would be joining a team responsible for an exciting portfolio of projects with EU institutions. The work may include:
- Programme or network management spanning Mutual Learning Services for employment and social inclusion, the ECVET Secretariat, the European Migration Network (EMN), the Platform tackling Undeclared Work, the European Centre of Expertise on labour market policy and labour law.
- Training services, such as the General online training for the European Solidarity Corps
- Supporting EU policy reforms with DG REFORM.
We work with the main Directorates-General of the European Commission and its agencies, spanning the European Labour Authority, DG EMPL, DG EAC, DG REFORM, CHAFEA and more. Depending on your experience, you could be supporting or managing strands of work, or managing large programmes directly.
About you: you can demonstrate best practice in project management and you can lead teams to collaborate and deliver. You have 7-10 + years of professional experience, ideally backed up by relevant training and / or certifications, such as Prince 2, PMP, PMI, and you understand PMOs and consulting. You have experience in at least one of the following policy areas: social inclusion and European employment and social policy, (vocational) education and training, migration and asylum, European Structural Funds, health, regional economic development, or related fields.
We have consultancy offices in the UK, Belgium, US and worldwide, and we are looking for managers to join our policy implementation team in Belgium and the UK working on European projects.
