Lead Java Developer

With that mission in mind ICF is seeking a Lead Java Software Developer for a critical program helping to; develop, maintain, and modernize agency wide applications. This will be directly working with helping to automate the HSPD and FICAM programs related to identity, credential, and access management initiatives.
Design, develop, integrate and support of application and associated peripherals
Analyze customer needs and provide software solutions as part of a team focused on meeting HSPD-12 goals
Analyze, Test, and resolve issues with application software and associated peripherals.
Analyze and adapt electronic workflow system to customer needs
Create documentation to support software development life cycle to include requirements documents and software design documents
Use version control tools for code integrity
Support production application
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with Nine (9)+ years of software development experience OR 14+ overall years of experience
Experience with Web Services/JAX-WS/axis2
Experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
Experience with Application Web Servers: WebSphere preferred
Experience with Angular platform
Experience with Microservices
Experience with full software development life cycle
Experience working in teams
Experience using version control systems for code integrity
Experience with Application server administration
Experience with Microsoft Technologies (C#, VC++, VB, ActiveX) development and deployment
Experience with Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12), FICAM
Experience with Git and Bitbucket version control systems
Experience using build tools, such as ANT, Maven
Desired Professional Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients both technical and non-technical
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions
Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and learn skills necessary for project completion
Ability to develop and execute detailed written plans for tasks and projects
