Our team has members located across North America, with a hub in Toronto, Canada and company headquarters in Reston, VA. We work together remotely on a daily basis using virtual collaboration tools.
Your Role on the Team
to guide other company leaders and experts through innovation and transformation processes. You will lead diverse projects for internal and external clients, leveraging strategy enablement, innovation services, product management, change strategy, research, analysis, and content creation to advance their objectives. You will support the growth, development, and continuous improvement of our team and manage partnerships with other leaders across ICF, finding ways to scale our impact through tools, templates, coaching, and enablement.
Examples of typical projects include:
Designing and facilitating workshops with clients and project teams to uncover new ways to deliver value including opportunities for adopting more tech forward approaches.
Accelerating offering development by taking ideas from our experts and helping them to define the market opportunity, conduct customer discovery, and develop go-to-market strategies.
Convening a diverse set of stakeholders and managing an extended process to identify opportunities for and catalyze action towards improving how equity considerations are integrated into the programs we deliver for clients.
Consulting leaders and experts across the business on developing and implementing their business strategies.
Developing and facilitating customized collaborative workshops and producing workshop synthesis documents with go-forward recommendations.
Applying your business acumen to help refine and advance concepts as we attempt to transform them from interesting ideas to repeatable offerings.
Serving as interim product manager as a two-in-the-box leader with partners from the business to accelerate offering development prior to hand-off.
Conducting or leading research to inform strategic recommendations or go-to-market planning exercises.
Designing deliverables that synthesize a diverse array of information and perspectives to help build alignment and drive progress.
Managing projects and engagements, including developing basic project plans, coordinating stakeholders, conducting business analysis, and driving execution
Coaching and mentoring our own team as well as partners in the business to share and propagate the unique skills and experiences you bring to the organization.
Producing templates, guides, and tools that enable others to leverage facilitation, data, technology, and design in their daily work and team culture.
8+ years of experience in business strategy, product development, design thinking, technology transformations, management consulting or innovation.
Virtual and / or in-person group facilitation experience.
Demonstrated stakeholder management experience, including influencing, and collaborating at the Executive level.
Ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous, or even conflicting concepts and translate them into an action plan for a team or organization.
Experience working across disciplines alongside subject matter experts (SMEs)
Able to travel within North America.
Experience working in climate, energy, utilities, water, environment, transportation, disaster management, or infrastructure.
Project, program, team, or product, management experience.
Demonstrated success advancing innovation in a corporate context.
Design Thinking or related certification
