Lead Energy Analyst, Innovation and Pilots (Ann Arbor, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo or Detroit, Michigan )
To support our growth, we are currently seeking a Senior Energy Analyst for our Energy division to lead and grow energy pilot programs. You will assist in the management of energy efficiency pilot programs, build relationships with clients, design/implement program strategies and plans, research emerging technologies and innovative products and services, which will ultimately help our utility clients reach climate and social equity goals.
Conducting analyses for determining cost effectiveness, energy savings, market potential and viability for emerging technologies and program delivery strategies
Designing programs, including identification, analysis and selection of appropriate energy efficiency measures and development of effective delivery strategies
Implementing programs including development and execution of and management plans, quality control, or program evaluation
Staying up-to-date on emerging technology and new delivery mechanisms in energy efficiency, demand response, beneficial electrification, distributed energy resources
Managing relationships with key trade allies and manufacturers
Building and maintaining relationships while driving customers towards the implementation of energy performance improvements
Some local travel required
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience
Experience analyzing data sets and reporting through technical writing and presentations
Experience working on consulting projects for utilities, state energy offices, state/local governments, and regional non-profits
Experience working on demand-side management programs
Demonstrated experience with business development and client relationships
Recognized internally and externally for expertise in functional area
Industry certifications, professional affiliations, and publication
Passion for triple-bottom-line sustainability
