Junior Immigration Specialist

The Jr. Immigration Specialist will be handling immigration matters and related tasks for US local and occasional international hires requiring work sponsorship in partnership with our local and international team. This individual will act as a key internal point of contact for all North American immigration needs and support all employment-based visa applications, LPR’s and work authorization compliance.

This temporary position will be remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a central point of contact and handles day-to-day U.S. and Canada immigration related matters. Partner with managers, employees, recruiters, HR business partners and outside legal counsel to coordinate initiation, posting, and signing of all immigration related applications.

  • Provide immigration support for employees, partnering with external counsel and HR business partners, on items including nonimmigrant visa services, lawful permanent resident applications, and immigration policy, compliance and planning.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively on immigration requirements, government procedures, case processing times to HR business partners, recruiters, employees and appropriate business leaders.

  • Provide support with travel & employment verification for foreign nationals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with experience in employment-based U.S. inbound immigration.

  • Experience in the administration of immigration programs.

  • Experience providing visa support – both temporary and green card.

  • Working knowledge of HR processes, procedures, roles and employment law fundamentals.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
