IT Modernization Business Leader
Responsible for directing the activities of a business unit within the company that is not a separate division. Responsibilities include planning with respect to the business unit, engineering/R&D, marketing, financial planning, etc. Manages, directs, and coordinates the business unit’s operations in order to increase customer satisfaction and profitability.
Job Description
We seek a Senior Leader to grow and manage a portfolio within our expanding IT Modernization Practice. This individual will lead a portfolio of Application and Portfolio Modernization projects focused on Federal Civilian markets. The ideal candidate will be a proven IT Leader with a track record of superior client service delivery and growth. This position will report directly to the Division Lead and work with other members of the leadership team in the development of short and long-term strategic plans.
This position will oversee a successful portfolio of established and growing customer accounts in the Federal sector. Responsibilities include successful delivery, customer satisfaction, and growing and retaining a cadre of key talent as well as partnering with the division’s business development team to develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the assigned portfolio. This individual must possess “seller/doer” leadership skills but will complement them with the broader vision to lead and grow the business. Candidate must be able to translate evolving Federal agency requirements, operations, and programs into new ICF engagements and relationships.
What you must have:
• 15+ years of progressively responsible general management experience in professional services and technology solutions as well as P&L management within the Federal Sector
• 5+ years of experience leading and growing an application and portfolio modernization business unit
• 5+ years of experience with Federal IT modernization and data analytics marketplace
• 5+ years of experience developing and executing successful growth strategies with relevant technology-oriented professional services businesses
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree with a preference in Computer Science, Economics, Business, Engineering, Technology
Experience as both a ‘seller-doer” and in working closely with business development teams on large-scale capture strategies and proposals
Master’s degree
Experience and knowledge of SaaS and PaaS software
Professional Skills:
• Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
• Ability to collaborate and motivate with project teams and work with all levels of internal staff
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with senior executives and clients• Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is
$230,122.00 - $391,207.00
