IT Governance & Compliance Analyst

ICF is seeking an IT business systems analyst to assist with the implementation of program management and development support; IT investment reviews and assessments; Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance support; IT Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) support; and project management support for our Department of Energy (DOE) client. You will provide technical, analytical, and management services to integrate mission program planning with investment, project, risk, and cybersecurity management requirements. Perform information gathering and support Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and compliance related data and information queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor changes in the law and DOE policies and notify users of all compliance requirement and changes relating to security memos, policy updates, and coordinate with organizational leadership on impacts
  • Assist with IT Governance Program development including guidance, policies, and procedures
  • Provide Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) expertise and compliance support guiding organizational IT data calls, response development and submission on schedule
  • Provide Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) support of organizational IT investment and ensure investments are reported completely and accurately in Folio (formerly eCPIC)
  • Assist with the planning of IT technical and investment requirements as related to FISMA and CPIC
  • Assist with annual Internal Controls assessments

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, business, or related field
  • Experience in federal cybersecurity, FISMA, and governance and compliance
  • 2+ years’ experience with information technology consulting
  • Strong research and writing skills, and attention to detail
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • US Citizenship

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years of supporting a Federal client, particularly the Department of Energy
  • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, etc.
