IT Analyst
The Social, Transformational, and Organizational Solutions Division is seeking an experienced IT Analyst who will split their duties between two data analytical workstreams. The first workstream, FITARA, requires strong experience and expertise in assessing and reviewing IT acquisition packages for FITARA (Federal Information Technology Reform Act) compliance and maturing the FITARA Review and Approval process for its NIH client in Bethesda, MD. The second workstream, General Data Analytics, also requires strong experience and expertise in performing general IT data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Support senior leadership in the OMB (Office of Management and Budget) FITARA requirements Work with limited direction to lead, define, develop, implement, execute, maintain, and mature the FITARA review and approval process
Track status of FITARA requests daily and escalate issues timely. Develop weekly FITARA status reports
Responsible for leading tracking, analyzing acquisition packages involving IT services for FITARA compliance and obtaining CIO approvals
Responsible for review and analysis of the acquisition documents for FITARA compliance
Perform routine and project-based data analysis activities. This may include:
Data quality exercises
Data profiling activities, as well as quantifying and prioritizing data issues and opportunities
Advising and supporting OCIO staff on data concepts
Data conversion and reconciliation activities
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree
5 years working in the Information Technology Acquisitions field
5+ years of project and customer management experience in Federal Civilian consulting environment
3+ years’ experience using analytical skills
Understanding of IT policy and governance process
Demonstrated experience in using all Microsoft Suite Products (including: SharePoint Online, Excel, and Power Point)
Professional Skills:
Must have excellent written and oral communications skills
Must be able to present reports and briefings to all levels of the client organization, including executive management
Must be comfortable working both independently and in a matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers
Must be able to multi-task, shift priorities and manage tasks with little to no oversight
Must be able to work in a collaborative environment across multiple stakeholder organization to collect and analyze project information
Must be able to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus
