Inorganic Environmental Chemist
ICF is looking for Inorganic to join our team to support an EPA contract, the Environmental Services Assistance Team (ESAT), in Region 5 - Chicago, IL EPA lab location. This team provides technical, analytical and quality assurance (QA) support, primarily to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Superfund Program, other EPA programs, Federal and state agencies, and tribal organizations to facilitate identification, assessment, regulation, and remediation of environmental hazards which may pose a threat to human health or the environment. These requirements necessitate that EPA gather and/or generate information on which to base administrative, regulatory, and/or human health decisions.

Experience related to contaminated site characterization, remediation, and optimization at contaminated sites including Superfund, Brownfields, and RCRA Corrective Action sites.
Willingness to acquire skills in Organic analysis such as GC, GC/MS, LC/MS/MS and HPLC.
Possession of OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and current 8-hour refresher is desirable.
