HSPD-12 Business/Policy Analyst
ICF is hiring for an HSPD-12 Business/Policy Analyst to support our work in Woodlawn, MD (with telework available during COVID-19). This role will be part of a project supporting Smart Card infrastructure for a large federal agency, helping to provide support, guidance, and subject matter expertise to critical areas for our client. This role will offer you a chance to have a real and notable impact on the program.
Advise client regarding how continuous alignment with the Federal ICAM (FICAM) Architecture will reduce information security risks, project risks, and project costs;
Analyze and develop credentialing policy and procedure to identify current-state gaps and better align technology, operations, physical security, and logical security with the Federal Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (FICAM) Architecture playbooks;
Analyze use-cases and research the technical implementation of PIV derived credentials for use with mobile devices;
Deliver briefings and presentations to senior management;
Create and update general project related documentation;
Provide subject matter expertise for Tier 2 and 3 support
Capture requirements for new software innovations through the analysis of federal standards and stakeholder business needs.
Required Education and Skills:
15 years IT experience
Bachelors Degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of federally published standards relating to ICAM, PIV/HSPD-12 (e.g. FIPS-201, the NIST SP800 series)
Previous direct experience implementing an HSPD-12 program within the federal space
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
Certified Smart Card Industry Professional for Government (CSCIP/G) preferred
Exhibit strong team player skills with a willingness to assume responsibility and respond to new challenges
Must possess strong planning, organization, analysis, problem-solving and decision making skills
Demonstrate professionalism, strong written, communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Team player with the ability to work and multi-task in a fast-pace environment
