Health Communications Associate - Rockville, MD or REMOTE
Our award-winning agency is growing and in search of a Health Communications Associate to support our federal health communications work in Rockville, Maryland. Candidates who can be based out of ICF’s office in Rockville, MD are strongly preferred, but we are open to REMOTE candidates.

The Team
This is an exciting role supporting a team working on meaningful projects to help people live healthier lives that offers excellent opportunities for growth and mentorship as part of a dynamic and collaborative organization.
The Work
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to client requests, often juggling priorities and working with tight deadlines. Experience organizing events preferred. Health and/or government communications experience a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Support a variety of communications activities, such as conference and exhibit planning and coordination, social media content development, media outreach, and materials development.
Provide project coordination support across activities, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, capturing notes, developing activity reports, tracking project status updates, and other critical administrative tasks.
Create and edit communications materials, reports, and presentations using Excel, PPT, Word, and other programs as assigned.
Work collaboratively with a federal health agency client team, subject matter experts, and the ICF team.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of experience within agency and/or marketing and communications environments
BS/BA in Business, Communications, Marketing or equivalent in professional experience
Proficient in Windows PC environment, including Microsoft Office applications
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Strong team orientation with a focus on collaboration
Strong organizational and writing skills, time management skills, and superior attention to detail
Ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to clients’ communications challenges/problems.
Experience organizing events preferred
Health and/or government communications experience a plus
