Technology and Experience Practice

The role

You’ll have the support of a leading global consultancy behind you but your entrepreneurial spirit will be critical to helping us to build 
something that hasn't been tried before. Reporting to and working in partnership with the Senior Partner leading the Technology and 
Experience Practice, this role is an exciting opportunity to be part of, influence and shape real change and fast growth within an establishedglobal consultancy.

This role will be both broad and deep, ranging from market analysis to identify key trends and new opportunity areas for the Technology and 
Experience Practice, to driving general efficiencies, improving processes, and contributing to new proposition development. This role will be a 
major contributor to the growth of the Technology and Experience Practice and will play a vital role in influencing the practice’s future as we 
continue to explore and expand our capabilities and service offering. 
Our ideal candidate is agile, ambitious, and comfortable working with all levels of management to gain an in-depth understanding of our strategy and services.

Objectives of this role

  • Market landscaping, analysis of barriers to entry / gaps and opportunities. 

  • Collaborating with the wider Technology and Experience team + other teams across ICF to understand their goals, objectives and 

  • target audiences, using insight to support in shaping proposition development

  • Coordinate strategic transformation initiatives from development through to successful execution under the guidance of senior 

  • sponsor and department leads

  • Identify opportunities to improve current processes and implement new processes to improve efficiency and productivity and 

  • support with implementation

  • Assist and communicate with senior leadership in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation


  • Analysis of new markets and product / service offer fit

  • Key competitor analysis

  • Work with sales and marketing teams on analysis of current customer base and of effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns

  • Analysis of current business practice and scoping of opportunities to improve operational efficiency

  • Business case building and support with developing new initiatives and propositions

  • Critical role in full lifecycle of transformation projects, including pulling, manipulating, and exporting data from project requirements 

  • documentation to design and execution

  • Evaluating objectives & key results (OKRs), provide ongoing reports, and recommend business plan updates

Experience and Knowledge

Must Haves

• 3+ years in consulting, business operations or strategy role
• Proven experience organising project teams without direct reporting relationships
• Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity, a master of multi-tasking
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills• Strong problem-solving skills

Nice to Haves

• Experience in quantitative and qualitative data research and analysis• Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental navigation and communication

Personal qualities

• A positive and professional team player with drive and determination to support colleagues and clients, deliver good 
work and continually improve the team’s offering, efficiencies and sales• Continually demonstrates initiative to proactively learn and develop new skills
