GIS Developer- Front End
ICF is seeking a GIS Developer- Front End to work REMOTE supporting the Universal Services Administrative Company based in Washington, DC. The Universal Service Administrative Company helps communities and people across the U.S. stay connected to the information, resources, and care they need.

What you will do:
Recommend approaches to meeting a diverse set of end user needs through the integration of interactive maps and GIS-based capabilities into web interfaces.
Support development of custom applications, reports, and other data visualization products to help clients improve their decision-making.
Support strategic thinking and processes related to infrastructure, web mapping platforms, and software development and deployment.
Oversee implementation of automated testing routines.
Develop documentation for web-based applications and conduct training for end users.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline).
2 years of experience working with COTS mapping and BI tools such as ArcGIS Online, Tableau, or PowerBI.
2 years of experience with Agile software development and modern DevSecOps processes.
US Citizen or Permanent Lawful Resident (Green Card Holder) preferred. Employment must be compliant with eligibility for Public Trust Clearance due to Government Contract.
What would be good to have:
Understanding of concepts and applicable software tools and analytical methodologies for visualizing different types of spatial data.
Familiarity with 508 issues and compliance.
Demonstrated experience showing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills paired with a desire to take initiative.
