Gatsby Developer (Remote)

*This role can be 100% remote, sitting anywhere within the US. *

ICF, a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial consulting company, is immediately hiring a Gatsby Developer. This developer will help re-design and build a new website for a government agency dedicated to improving child welfare. The ICF team performs custom software development and maintenance on a suite of web-based applications. The team works closely with clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of public-facing, mission-critical applications.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work with clients in an Agile team to build websites and applications
• Build interactive and responsive web applications with JavaScript frameworks
• Design and build apps for performance and accessibility
• Migrate existing website from an older CMS to a modern platform
• Implement the US Web Design System (USWDS) pattern library
• Work across the modernization team to integrate related workflow and library systems.

What you must have:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1+ years of professional experience using Gatsby as a static-site generator for a headless CMS
• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience, including the use of JavaScript frameworks calling REST API endpoints
• 6+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of experience in:
  • HTML, CSS, ES6 JavaScript, and Web Standards
  • JavaScript libraries and linters
  • Browser developer tools and git
  • Building responsive web interfaces (RWD)
  • WCAG guidelines, Web Accessibility, and 508 compliance development practices
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (due to Federal contract); candidate must reside in the United States and work must be performed in the US
• Must be eligible for public trust.

What we'd like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical discipline
• Experience implementing pattern libraries, especially the USWDS.
• Experience with content management systems, especially Drupal
• Knowledgeable of AWS cloud services.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$82,673.00 - $140,544.00
