Focus Group Facilitator (On-call)
The On-Call Facilitator manages the process of information exchange within a session or workshop. The expectation of the facilitator is to lead focus group discussions for various Federal clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer focus group discussions with 6-10 people on the topic of interest, including note taking
Create a positive atmosphere and a safe place for open discussion
Answer questions asked by focus group participants related to the purpose of the focus group and the related project
Manages time effectively, balancing the need for participation with the need to keep things running efficiently
Maintain all necessary documentation
Undergo any necessary training and online courses
Update data to the project-specific spreadsheet
Adhere to all project timelines as set forth by project manager
Lead set-up, tear-down, and clean-up operations at the focus group location
When working in the field, must be willing to agree to any COVID-19-related protocols put in place by ICF or the client. These could include, among others, wearing face coverings or respiratory protection, gloves, taking temperatures daily, social distancing with survey respondents, getting vaccinated, and/or completing a health pledge. All safety supplies required for use on the project will be provided by ICF.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
7 years of experience with workshop and/or group facilitation and training and/or presenting to individuals and groups
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Effective time, schedule, and workload management skills to meet set deadlines
Computer skills, namely email, internet, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams) proficiency
Data collection and data entry skills, including detailed note-taking during focus groups
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Positive, self-motivated, curious, and enjoy interacting with people from culturally-diverse backgrounds

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is
$75,157.00 - $127,767.00
