Financial Analyst, Treasury

ICF is seeking a Financial Analyst who is looking to grow their career in Corporate Finance. This role will primarily support the Corporate Finance group in the Treasury team and initiatives related to the company’s long term capital structure, debt financing activities, capital allocation strategies, share repurchase programs as well as provide on-going support to other Treasurer and CFO driven initiatives. Responsibilities are financial modeling, data analysis and corporate finance functions for a publicly traded company.  Additional duties include some Treasury operations such as performing daily bank transactions, maintaining bank account oversight and relationships, and administration of ICF’s credit card program.

This role will report to the Director of Treasury (with dotted line to Treasurer) and will require working closely with various internal departments (i.e., operations, accounting, legal, facilities, human resources, IT), as well as numerous external parties (i.e., banks, clients, vendors).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Treasurer in various corporate finance functions such as:
  • Maintaining the long-term forecasting and the equity valuation model
  • Assist in managing capital structure, short-term borrowing activity, interest rate and FX risk management
  • Generate monthly treasury management reports
  • Provide financial analysis and analytical support to strategic treasury initiatives.
  • Perform competitive analysis, due diligence for M&A activities.
  • As necessary, support treasury operations in areas of bank account management, daily cash management, liquidity and short-term cash forecasting models, banking transactions for domestic and international operations, managing working capital, administering corporate card program. 
  • Opportunity to cross-train in all job functions within Treasury and Risk Management Department

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Strong financial modeling skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong quantitative skills to analyze Financial Statements
  • Knowledge of cash/bank management products, cash flow forecasting
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant treasury or related corporate finance experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Working towards CTP, MBA, or CPA credentials a plus
  • Experience in analyzing financial reports
  • Technical Experience: Treasury workstation (TMS), various online bank platforms, proficiency in using Bloomberg
