Experience Developer, Front End (Remote)
Who we're looking for
ICF Next is looking to hire an Associate Experience Developer, Front End, to join the team. As an Associate Experience Developer, this person will work as part of an Agile development team to interpret requirements, provide estimates and feedback, and deliver high-quality code to contribute to web CMS and application solutions. This person will participate in discussions with the Agile team and clients to understand project requirements and issues and be a part of designing solutions.
*We are open to supporting 100% remote work anywhere within North America*
Below are the requirements for this role.
2 to 4 years of professional experience building web pages, CMS templates, or contributing to web applications
Experience WordPress including theme and template development, custom block development, plugin development, and site administration
Familiarity with browser developer tools, git or similar code versioning platforms, and JIRA or similar workflow management tools
Familiarity with building responsive web interfaces (RWD) and working with Web Content Management Systems (WCS/CMS)
Strong technical and consultative communication skills
SASS, LESS, Stylus
Browser Developer Tools
Good to Have
Contributes to Open Source Projects.
Experience with WCAG guidelines and Web Accessibility development practices
Proficiency with Responsive Design concepts and implementation
Experience with Enterprise Web Content Management Systems (WCS/CMS) such as Sitecore or AEM
Familiarity with Agile Software Development practices and concepts
Familiarity with node.js
Bachelor's Degree requirement
