Experience Designer - London
From defining business objectives to creating hi-fidelity pixel perfect mockups, you’re an expert in delivering engaging customer communications that make a real impact.
You will integrate customer insight into design by streamlining the architecture, interface, and interactions of digital products. Creating rapid prototypes to support vision, validating designs using split A/B tests and measuring solutions to establish benchmarks and to identify potential areas of improvement.
The role will involve collaborating and communicating with clients and internal teams, staying on top of UX / UI and visual trends, and looking for creative ideas and inspiration.
As part of the Digital Product & Experience team, you will contribute to the growth of our CX, EX & Service Design, and work closely with product owners, programme directors, account managers and other senior stakeholders, both internally and externally to help to build bespoke responses, solve problems and develop strategy to win work and deliver for our clients – on time and on budget. You are an advocate for best practice in experience design, keep up to date with industry changes and promote an inclusive design culture.

Lead in developing compelling propositions and proposals for both government and commercial clients, that uncovers and describes relevant processes and best practises
Work with senior stakeholders to understand business needs, gather, analyse, and document business and user requirements – through designing and facilitating engaging workshops
Conduct research to gain insight and inspiration from customers, competitors and trends
Help define best practice for design thinking, customer experience and loyalty.
Think creatively to generate original ideas
Collaborate with project teams and clients to define and implement solutions
Visually communicate complex information and ideas in an engaging way that tells a story
Use research findings to guide the visual direction and communicate it through sketching, mockups and prototyping
Take designs from product requirements to high fidelity wireframes and ready for dev / print
Responsible for designing engaging email marketing campaigns
Prototype products and create stimulus for user testing
Evaluate and communicate existing experiences and identify opportunities for development.
Help define and build new customer journeys, user flows and storyboards that effectively communicate experiences
Have a penchant for details and organisation, including the ability to prioritise tasks, communicate progress and meet tight deadlines
Be aware of current design trends and attitudes to help inspire the team
Tell compelling stories through verbal and visual communication that excite and inspire clients and other stakeholders
Have a solid foundation in content strategy, information hierarchy and design thinking
Experience and Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a Design discipline
2-5 years of experience as an Product Designer or similar role with an agency background
A portfolio that clearly demonstrates consistent process and creative thinking
Expert level skills in Adobe CC, Powerpoint, JIRA and Figma
Experience with transitions, animation and motion design
Excellent visual, written and verbal communication and presentation skills
The ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously
Strong problem-solving skills5+ years of demonstratable experience working as a Service Designer
Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a good communicator
Having a keen eye for detail – your work is produced to pixel perfection with consistency throughout
