ICF is seeking a driven employee for a role with increasing responsibility and growth opportunities. This position will provide high-level administrative support for company leaders to ensure they can efficiently accomplish key tasks and company initiatives. Successful candidate will assist with keeping the executive’s communications organized, knowledge management, quality control, some business development process support, and a variety of operational functions. The position also allows the opportunity to interface with operations and senior management to review/analyze/share business results. Organizational, strong communication, and critical thinking skills are essential, as is the ability to guide team members through internal business development processes. You will work individually, as well as within a team environment, so adaptability and strong communication skills are critical to the success of this position.
Providing administrative assistance, such as maintaining comprehensive and accurate records, performing minor accounting duties, writing and editing communications on the executive’s behalf
Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
Manage tracking systems for business development opportunities.
Work side-by-side with project managers to set up new proposals and projects.
Interface and build collaborative relationships with departments across ICF, such as Contracts, Pricing, Project Management, and Business Unit Leads.
Assist in managing financial pipeline to include, which will include communicating with senior management regarding pipeline data, and ensuring project/proposal managers, and other senior personnel, are aware of the status of opportunities.
Conduct reporting and analysis on pipeline and business development activities.
Perform various operational functions, as needed.
3 years of experience in Executive Assistant or Business Operations role
Experience with Sharepoint and/or other knowledge management systems.
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Preferred Skills and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline, Accounting/Finance, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Ability to interface with project teams and company management.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
Team player with analytical and problem solving skills.
Multi-tasker with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3+ years’ experience in Government contracting environment preferred.
