Epidemiology Information Specialist

What you will be doing:
Working alongside a team of program and subject matter experts you will contribute to the development of epidemiology studies for major national public health clients.
As an Information Specialist your support will include: literature searches, managing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and interfacing with Institutional Review Boards (IRB’s)
You will also be responsible for identifying GARD resources and contributing to continuous updating and changing of the procedures to improve process efficiencies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Epidemiology, Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling
- 1+ years of experience supporting Epidemiology, Genetics or Public Health programs and research.
- Experience reviewing journals and text references to remain current in clinical research.
- Master’s Degree in Epidemiology, Public Health or related subject.
- Experience supporting Federal projects preferred.
- Experience in Web site design and writing content for the Web.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing/editing skills.
