Energy Industry Sector Analyst
ICF is seeking an energy industry program support analyst to assist with coordinating government-industry teams focused on electricity and/or oil & gas initiatives. Work includes supporting and managing integrated government–industry teams in research, fact finding, and analysis of energy sector policies and infrastructure and identifying and meeting agreed goals.
Perform technical writing and communications support on behalf of the client, including editing, reviewing, and routing of documents as well as creating presentations and briefings on specific technical or operational issues electricity infrastructure
Draft clear, well-written memos about government energy policies and initiatives
Assist in the creation and update of corporate dashboards
Coordinate activities between key stakeholders including industry and working groups
Manage logistics for meetings, including taking effective meeting minutes, tracking milestones and priorities, and following up on meeting action items
Attend meetings and work closely with government clients and Industry stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in energy policy, government, engineering, economics, business, or related field
5+ years’ experience with at least 2 years required in the energy sector
Strong research and writing skills, and attention to detail
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
2+ years of supporting a Federal client, particularly the Department of Energy, FERC, or DHS
PMP (Project Management Certification)
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, energetic, quick, adaptive learner
Ability to develop and cultivate strong customer relationships
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
