Energy Efficiency Analyst/ Program Operations
Location – Columbia, MD or Fairfax, VA
Are you interested in providing Program support for ICF’s Utility Programs and Services Division? You will contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. The Analyst will be part of the Maryland Operations team and work with a cross-functional team of program management, outreach, and technical personnel. Analysts at ICF have an opportunity to apply their academic and industry knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, interact with experts and clients in the field, and build content knowledge and consulting skills.
What you will do:
- Develop and update client reports
- Assist in preparation and delivery of internal and client presentations
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and databases for internal tracking
- Analyze reports for client delivery including forecasting and pipeline data
- Collaboration with IT and Reporting teams (including coordinating, tracking and resolving action items)
- Document operational processes and implement streamlined processes where applicable
- Preparation and submission of incentive invoices including tracking of diverse business spend
- Coordination of technical resource manual updates
- Documentation editing and revisions
- Preparation of regulatory filings
- Other duties as required to support our work nationally and provide direct support to division leadership as needed
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Information Technology, Environmental Sciences, Economics, or related subject preferred but not required)
- At least 2+ year(s) of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
Professional Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and exercise independent judgment
- Ability to carry out oral and written instructions thoroughly
- Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
- Interpersonal skills including ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
- Quantitative/analytical skills including ability to pull large data sets and manipulate as requested (adding pivot tables, formulas and macros when necessary)
- Data visualization skills (with tools such as Tableau or Power BI) preferred but not required
- Energy efficiency experience preferred but not required
