 Job Description: 
To support our growth, we are seeking candidates with a strong background in project and account management. This position will support the portfolio manager in overseeing  program operations for utility clients; identification and engagement  with all key stakeholders and team members specifically in the distributor and retailer supply chains; and coordination with a cross-functional matrix of ICF program personnel. Including managing a pipeline of new and existing customers and trade allies to ensure our programs meet participation goals.  The successful candidate will also support the team with tasks such as data analysis, reporting, application review, forecasting, marketing development and execution of plans, quality control measures, and client support.

 What you will be doing: 

  • Work as part of the midstream energy efficiency team ensuring that the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility sponsored energy efficiency projects are successfully executed. 
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with major local, regional and national distributors, suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers providing excellent customer service to support their participation in the programs.  
  • Manage ongoing communications with program participants and other interested stakeholders to assess their needs and to receive feedback on their experience with the program. 
  • Preparing and presenting targeted client and participant presentations promoting program awareness and participation at trade shows, trade organization and stakeholder events, supply house counter days, ride-along with sales teams, etc. 
  • Assist with the development and implementation of promotional strategies. 
  • Prepare ongoing status reports to document performance and activities demonstrating progress towards program goals, participation, and pipeline management. 
  • Review and analyze QA/QC data for projects reported to client. 
  • Perform energy savings calculations for energy efficiency measures and upload records into program database. 
  • Process paperwork for program incentive payments per established policies and procedures. 
  • Coordinate with or follow up on program quality control activities such as inspections and customer surveys as appropriate. 
  • Effectively manage program budgets. 
  • Analyzing market trends and technologies to deploy for midstream programs. 
  • Troubleshoot IT systems and managing ticket timelines and provide status updates.  
  • 15-30% local travel in Washington DC/Maryland required 

 What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): 

  • Bachelor’s degree in (Business Admin, Energy, Environmental Studies, Information technology, policy, or related field) 
  • 2+ years of industry project management and/or energy efficiency program experience,OR
  • 6 + years of related work experience in energy efficiency programs
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check 

 What we would like you to have: 

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and/or customer accounts in any of the following equipment supply chains: HVAC, lighting, commercial food service, or water heating.  
  • 3+ years of experience managing successful energy efficiency opportunities, with specific expertise in one of the following: HVAC contractors, distributors, real estate, federal government, or retail customers. 
  • Hold a project management certification, including but not limited to; PMP, Six-Sigma, Scrum Master, etc.  
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications (Dynamics, Word, Outlook, Excel) 
  • Proficiency in developing and/or implementing data collection, tracking, and reporting processes (i.e. customer relationship management (CRM) efforts) 
  • Working knowledge of demand side management (DSM) programs. 
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal employees, as well as outside clients and vendors. 
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills  
  • Experience with Power BI (or similar data visualization tool)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is

$62,416.00 - $106,108.00
