Emergency Management- Focused Planning Opportunities
ICF employs a diverse variety of subject-matter experts to assist our clients at the state, local, tribal, territorial, and federal levels in dealing with complex challenges in responding to, recovering from, and mitigating impacts from disasters and other emergencies. Our nationwide teams of experts provide strategic consulting services and support to emergency management and public health agencies throughout the United States and its affiliated territories. Our talented personnel possess a keen understanding of all aspects of the emergency management life cycle and share the mission-oriented focus of the agencies that we serve at all levels of government.
We are actively seeking candidates across a range of experience levels with backgrounds in emergency management planning, hazard-specific expertise (pandemics, biological incidents, earthquake, hurricanes etc.), or other functional areas of specialization (e.g., response planning, housing, infrastructure, emergency communications, economic recovery).
Please apply if you have experience with response, recovery, or mitigation planning and stakeholder engagement support for emergency management or public health agencies at any level of government. Candidates possessing recent experience employing or working within the Community Lifelines organizational construct developed in recent years by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are strongly encouraged to apply.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
Minimum 5 years of working on planning-related projects or management of information documents
Experience with emergency management response programs

Although remote work is anticipated, priority will be given to applicants with the ability to attend meetings and interact with clients in the following cities or surrounding metropolitan areas:
