Electrification National Account Manager

The Electrification National Account Manager leads the client engagement and program support functions of ICF’s National Account Team. This role involves direct interaction and outreach with National Account Customers, Service Providers, Contractors, and Manufacturers to drive participation into Electric Vehicle and Beneficial Electrification programs across the United States. This role also involves interaction and coordination across the implementation teams and utility client representatives to ensure expectations are met or exceeded. This role will include moderate travel to meet program teams in addition to attendance at sector conferences/meetings.

ICF’s Beneficial Electrification programs support customers in their switch from fossil fuel powered to electric powered equipment. From light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, to buildings and industrial equipment, stakeholders are evaluating the possibilities to electrify. ICF helps utilities and companies evaluate these opportunities and deliver financial and decarbonization benefits.

This position could be performed from a remote location or an office location that is supported by ICF’s Commercial Energy Division.

Key Responsibilities:

•Manage and recruit national account customers, rebate administration companies, contractors, and national manufacturers for EV and electrification program engagement

•Develop innovative strategies and communication plans to reach national account customers that are cost effective and engaging

•Creation of reports and sector-based outreach plans focused on the development of key account relationships to foster program goals

•Attendance and exhibition at conferences and prepare overviews of conferences attended, contacts and important details

•Support the identification and research of new technologies that may be considered for inclusion in supported programs

•Manage budget and report out to program teams on costs and results related National Accounts efforts

Basic Qualifications:

•5+ years of work experience in areas related to supporting utility programs and national customer/account outreach

•5+ years of experience managing and reconciling budgets, forecasts, and participation levels

•5+ years of MS Office Applications (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word)

•1+ years of work knowledge documenting outreach in a CRM system (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc)

•Available to travel at least 25% - 40% annually (We are not traveling now due to COVID, however it will be required in the future)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

•Bachelor’s Degree

•Comfortable presenting to large groups

•Understanding of business models for National Account entities

•Prior project management experience within a matrix organization

•Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

•Moderate knowledge of financial management principles

•Ability to work with all levels of internal employees, as well as outside clients and vendors

•Strong attention to detail
