You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaigns.

This role is suited to someone with at least 2 years’ experience, ideally with experience in digital & lead generation, preferable with a Digital Marketing Degree.

The Role

The position requires a candidate who understands both traditional and digital marketing activities, and who can blend a creative approach to design and content, with strong analytical abilities and experience of using data to inform, plan and target campaigns effectively.

The Digital marketing assistant will report to and collaborate with the Digital & Lead Generation Marketing Manager E&A and to create and implement marketing strategies and campaign plans to raise brand profile and drive quality lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention across the full portfolio of  E&A services.  The role will sit within the ICF Marketing team in E&A but will require collaboration and networking with (i) Head of Marketing E&A (ii) ICF & ICF Next marketing teams (iii) the corporate marketing team in Fairfax, as well as managing external suppliers & agencies as required. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Team on campaigns by implementing a variety of marketing channels carefully selected to suit target personas, to strategically take the audience through their buying journey and to control persona-oriented content to drip feed the right information at the right stage of the journey.
  • Through your digital activity, generate quality leads into our database in order to drive convert them into marketing qualified leads (MQLs) to be handed of to our Business Development/Sales teams   
  • Work closely with the marketing team to implement cohesive integrated marketing campaigns through various digital marketing activities and channels.
  • Optimize marketing automation strategies for lead nurture through email, content and direct channels.
  • Assist in establishing targets and key performance metrics to evaluate campaign performance, monitor through regular reporting, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Create engaging content across all brands and company campaigns, to suit each social channel using Sprinklr
  • Collaborate on paid media campaigns and help direct strategy and media planning while analysing results. Campaign tactics include: paid search, paid social, display,
  • Build and manage all E&A content on the CMS system (Sitecore), optimising content and implementing innovative user experiences
  • Managing and build email campaigns aligned with strategic direction. Working with Marketo (marketing automation) and Knak (email builder)
  • Create impactful nurture programs to improve conversion rates from leads to opportunities
  • Lead and implement online events/webinars with support of the wider marketing team as required. Using GoToWebinar.
  • Build relationships and work closely with the Corporate Marketing team in Fairfax, Virginia.

Basic Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in b2b marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn.
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and implementing marketing campaigns and thought leadership content that engages, educates and motivates.
  • Experience and knowledge of the main social media channels – LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube.
  • Knowledge and experience of website analytics tools, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, DataStudio
  • Experience or understanding of setting up and optimising SEM, PPC, Google Adwords campaigns would be a plus
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Experience of using a marketing automation system such as Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, or Adobe
  • Experience of using a social media automation platform such as Sprinklr or Hootsuite.
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop / InDesign / Illustrator would be a plus

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
