DevOps Developer
ICF is looking for a DevOps Developer to support our client in the Washington, DC Metro Area!

Our Public Sector Group (PSG) is growing, and we are looking for a talented, highly motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our ICF’s Digital Modernization Division. You will be responsible for helping government clients execute their most complex digital transformation projects. You will solve complex technical problems in a fast paced, collaborative and inclusive delivery environment.

Location:
This role can be 100% remote, sitting anywhere within the DC Metro area!
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers, designers, data scientists, cloud architects and software engineers to define and implement optimal, complete solutions for our clients
Design back-end and front-end web based software or customize while ensuring solutions adhere to ICF’s human centered design principles
Develop solutions using Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, React and/or Angular
Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
Apply and generate best practices in multiple technical domains using your vast experience of various technology products and services
Ensure solutions are developed and packaged in an easily consumable and repeatable way for customers and internal technical teams
Capture and share best practice knowledge with the internal technical teams
What you must have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
5 or more years of experience with building full stack web-based enterprise systems
5 or more years of experience with programming languages and platforms such as
Experience working in a CI/CD environment in AWS
Experience creating automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, React and/or Angular
5 or more years of experience with SQL and database development
Technologies you’ll use: Java, JavaScript, Python, React, Angular, SQL, AWS, Docker
3 or more years of experience building cloud applications, SaaS, PaaS on the AWS platform Proven track record of implementing custom technical solutions using Agile principles in a high tech development environment with cross functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to influence and achieve results through effective negotiation and problem solving
US Citizenship or Green Card
What is nice to have:
1-2 or more years of experience with developing and deploying applications to the AWS Cloud
1-2 or more years of experience with containerization using Docker
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers
Work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
